One of the most beneficial and valuable gifts we can give to ourselves in this life: is allowing ourselves to be surprised! It is okay if life surprises you. Its a good thing!

At sunrise.
Upon waking this morning, I looked out the window and what did I see? Snow! Beautiful snow! It was quite unexpected. Even our weather folks are issuing mea culpas because they didn’t see it coming on any of their models.
I’ll show and tell more later in the week after my guest departs. Hope you’re having a good Tuesday!

These are superb. Early morning is the best time of day for photography and you have captured this time beautifully.
You captured such beautiful morning scenes. We had snow flurries this morning, but no actual snow. Our poor daughter in Boston, though. Surprises are nice, but I can do without snow in April. 🙂
We also had a surprise a week or so ago – a hailstorm, something that seldom happens here. It was short-lived, but impressive (and fortunately my overwintering leafy veg were under a plastic cloche so didn’t suffer). Love the image of the bench.
The first photo reminds me of my dad taking me, when I was a child, to a small canal walk near where we lived, it was very rural-looking even though it was in a town, and it had the same atmosphere of your photo. Lovely.
Comments are delightful and always appreciated. I will respond when I can (life is keeping me busy!), and/or come around to visit you at your place soon. Thank you! Cancel reply

Thank you, Merril. 🙂 I think our plants feel the same way about snow in April, although they do seem to have survived the cold snap.

Snow is falling everywhere it seems! Love the early morning light and tinged clouds.

So pretty. I guess it would be prettier if it were in…say…December…rather than April. But still. It’s pretty.

It was very pretty, Dawn, especially after the sun came out and things began to sparkle. It was gone by noon. 🙂

Thank you, Laurie. 🙂 Glad to hear your veggies survived the hail. Hail can be so destructive.
