Every so often, I like to go to the window, look up, and smile for a satellite picture.

Shall we look at the moonrise from last night?

I wonder what the sun and moon say to one another when they greet each other across the sky as one rises and the other sets.

  1. I’m so happy you got good shots – we were so hazy yesterday evening that the moon was well into the sky before it was visible…tonight doesn’t promise much better.
Great quotes, too…M-o-o-n….. We’re pretty geeky gals, aren’t we? 😉

    Great moon shots.
I think my favorites are the ones with the pine trees. Beautiful work.

  3. thank you for capturing the moon for me … beautiful pictures.
Nothing but gray rain clouds here for the past week. Lots of clouds, humidity … but very little rain.

    1. You’re welcome, Bearyweather. And thank you. 🙂
We’ve had similar weather here. Lots of clouds, humidity (and heat!), but little rain. We had to water the garden today. Maybe I should wash the car. The combination might be enough to entice Mother Nature to bring on some rain. Just rain, though. I can live without storms and dramatic weather.

  4. Very lovely photos, especially your first moon picture, which was fabulous! It wasn’t near as big (close) here as it apparently was where you are — it looks like you could have reached up and grabbed it! Lovely lunar post, Robin!
