Over a year ago, Christine, inspired by beeblu blog, posted her own beautiful Search Engine Poetry. It was something I meant to do at the time, but I put off and eventually I forgot about it. Last weekend I spent some time sorting through my email and came across the email notice about Christine’s post, and decided to have a look at my search engine terms to see what I could come up with.
Without further ado, my Search Engine Poetry…
wandering breezes
worlds of colors
tree with star shaped leaves
reflection my body is
meet me under the boardwalk
night rides at dawn
eastern shore ghosts
learning past present future tense
thoughts on life itself
why did the sky break up with dawn
dreams bring out change in life
i think i might have too much nostalgia
That’s it from me on this beautiful Saturday. Thank you for stopping by. I hope you’re having a good weekend so far. M and I have been busy, starting early this morning with some volunteer work. Then we worked outside for a little while since the sun is shining, and after that, it was back to the kitchen to work on the flooring. Hopefully we’ll get that finished tomorrow.
Be good, be kind, be loving. Just Be. 🙂
Today’s joys: Wandering breezes. All the people who showed up for the volunteer work this morning. (Amazing, and great to see!) Breakfast at Peaky’s. The crunch of the leaves on the trails. Getting the big holes in the kitchen floor plugged. (No wonder there was so much mouse poop under the cabinets!)
Love the Search Engine Poetry. Inspired.

Great poem, Robin. What a fun idea. And I really love the image titled Eastern shore ghosts. That one is really haunting. Hope you all have a lovely weekend, my friend.

Amazing how search terms can come together with interest and meaning! Good luck as you apply the finishing touches on your kitchen. I know you are ready to see the construction come to an end!

Search engine poetry looks like a whole lotta fun Robin! I just checked through mine, and wow, I hadn’t realized how many interesting phrases there were! I might just have to have a go at some poetry myself and see what it turns out like. Enjoy the rest of your weekend. 🙂

Thank you, CM. I thought so, too. I don’t know why I waited so long to do it. 🙂

Lovely 🙂 I haven’t written poetry in a while and have found that my search engine terms have become infinitely less interesting, as a result, but plan to hold another SEP competition next year.

I love it! Who knew Google could sound so mystical and magical? My search engine terms might not be so ethereal, but now I’m curious!

That’s really cool – you get some really nice search terms. Most of mine are kind of bizarre -would make for really weird poetry, lol! I’m looking forward to seeing how your kitchen floor work went – I think I found the tile I want for mine.

Thank you, Karma. 🙂 What’s wrong with weird poetry? Or funny poetry? I was thinking of having another look at mine to see if I could come up with something amusing.
We’re about half way there with the floor. It’s lookin’ good. 😀
