Silent Sunday

She shares her daily walks and meanders, a lot of quotes, some of her artwork, and a lot of her photography here on Ye Olde Blogge. Older posts can be found at Life in the Bogs, her previous blog. Robin and her husband are (still!) in the midst of renovating the house and cleaning up the property they refer to as the Wabi-Sabi Ranch, 35 acres that include marsh, a dock on a tidal creek, meadows, and woodlands. They were! Some were talking, some were singing, some were just making weird noises. Even though the water wasn’t very deep, the gulls were swimming, weaving around the egrets and ibis (ibises?). I have never before seen such a gathering of egrets. I feel like it was a gift. 🙂

It definitely was. I had to look up what a group of egrets is. There are several terms, one is “congregation.” 😉

Congregation…perfect for a Sunday! lol! At least they made out better than crows. I always thought it a bit unfair to refer to a group of them as a “murder.”

I like crows, but “murder of crows” is such a great phrase.

Dramatic, that’s for sure. Belongs in a good poem. Perhaps you could write one… 😀
