Summer sunset

August 2015K 045ab

Robin is... too many things to list, but here is a start: an artist and writer; a photographer and saunterer; a daughter and sister and granddaughter; a friend, a partner, a wife, a mother, and a grandmother; a gardener, a great and imaginative cook, and the creator of wonderful sandwiches.

  1. Inhaling, exhaling, pausing, repeating. (Especially remembering to glimpse that pause.) Loved the post card. And the summer sunset is exquisite. Been thinking about you the last couple of days and wanted to say hi.

    1. Thank you, Karma. 🙂 And yes, you certainly may. The front of the postcard is whatever photo I want to use with text inserted using Pixlr (they have a variety of retro fonts that I like for postcards). The back is a free template I found online. I do the text in Pixlr (again, because I like the fonts plus they have “stickers” I can use for the stamp or address section).

  2. What a glorious sky! I just noticed your reply to Karma, I had wondered the same, how do you make such beautiful postcards? I will be looking up Pixlr when I have finished catching up with your posts. Sorry I’m so far behind, a lot has, and still is, going on in my world presently.

    1. No need to catch up, Joanne! Just start from where you are. I am a prolific blogger, mostly because I use my blog as a diary of sorts. I know you have so much going on right now. Hugs.

Comments are delightful and always appreciated. I will respond when I can (life is keeping me busy!), and/or come around to visit you at your place soon. Thank you!
