Robin is a photographer, artist, writer, wife, sometime poet, mom, grandma, daughter, sister, friend, and occasional traveler currently living on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. She finished a 365 commitment to get outside every day in 2011, and has turned it into a lifelong commitment taking one or more walks each day. Robin will continue to share her walks through her words and images on Breezes at Dawn. Older posts can be found at Life in the Bogs, her previous blog. Robin and her husband are in the midst of renovating the house and property they refer to as the Wabi-Sabi Ranch, 35 acres that include marsh, a dock on a tidal creek, meadows, and woodlands. Every day brings new discoveries.

    1. Well, someone thought so, Cathy, and she was probably right. I spent the day steaming it off. It’s part of the duck dynasty bathroom (ducks all over, including as towel holders). We thought about salvaging some of it, but everything in there is so incredibly filthy and stained that it’s best to start over.

  1. All in one neat piece. I hate the talented removers.
Ducks are for baseball bleachers (sorry….there is some chip in my head that makes all balls aim directly for me no matter where they were supposed to go originally. So ducking – which brings us back to topic, right?)
Think how nice it will be once it’s done….someone had to be cheery and say it. Enthusiastic encouragement!

    1. lol! Thanks, PhilosopherMouse. It will be nice once it’s all done. The picture is deceptive in terms of coming off all in piece. It started that way, and quickly devolved into a mess that had to be scraped off piece by small piece. That’s typical of anything around here. Starts off easy, and before you know it, it took hours longer than originally planned. Ah well. It keeps me busy and out of trouble. 🙂
