Thursday Doors

Opening the door to the elements. (A trailer found on the ranch.)
Opening the door to the elements.

In a decaying society, art, if it is truthful, must also reflect decay.  And unless it wants to break faith with its social function, art must show the world as changeable.  And help to change it.

~ Ernst Fischer

This post is in response to Norm 2.0’s Thursday Doors.  The door is on the trailer we found hiding behind the pavilion here on the Wabi-Sabi Ranch.  I have no idea how long the trailer has been sitting back there, but nature has already been at work claiming it and making it part of the landscape.  We removed a lot of the vines so we could get inside in case the pirate’s treasure we keep hoping to find was somehow hidden in there.  Alas, no treasure was found.  Just the usual trash.

I’ve been traveling lately and just returned home yesterday evening.  The Blur posts were scheduled before I left on my adventure.  I’ll be back with regular (whatever that means) blog posts soon.  Probably for a coffee share.  I hope all is well with you.

Be good, be kind, be loving.  Just Be.  🙂
