Can you imagine experiencing the world as a great sandbox given for us to play in like we did as children? As we play, we can also open ourselves to the exploration of our edges, always creating new adventures of self-exploration as we let go of old out-dated beliefs about ourselves.
~ Judith-Annette Milburn
Do you mean sandbox?? I prefer the term BEACH! Now let’s play!

What a great summer photograph, Robin! It goes so nicely with the quote and takes me back to my childhood and my children’s childhoods, too. Playing in the sand by the edge of the sea does set the stage for all kinds of explorations and transitions, inner and outer.

Thanks Robin! I haven’t played enough this past week and this post reminded me to go out and explore. Time to go play…

Wouldn’t it, CM? More play, less angst. I think I’ll take that up as my motto. 😀

Robin, after reading your post from today…A Beverage…with the quote from Elizabeth Gilbert, i figure I’d tell you about another synchronicity, this time from the quote on this post. I had seen this quote about play, when you had posted it, and realized that I’ve been in several workshops with Judith Milburn, who wrote that quote, (she’s a wonderful person/!) We were participants together in several personal growth workshops in Oregon and she was extremely supportive of and encouraging about the “images/pages” I create. So, that was a nice surprise to see that quote. Well, my daughter has been at a week-long young adult’s workshop this past week, also in Oregon….and her own mentor during 2 days of that workshop (this Tuesday and Wednesday) was…Juidth Milburn! I had a strong feeling after reading her quote here that there would be some type of connection with, or through, her in the near future…I guess so!
My husband calls this kind of thing….”woo woo stuff….”,,,,but even he has realized that those odd seeming synchronicities happen enough that something else seems to be going on…no idea “what”…but they sure seem to “happen….”..and here another one is!
