To be creative means to be in love with life. You can be creative only if you love life enough that you want to enhance its beauty, you want to bring a little more music to it, a little more poetry to it, a little more dance to it.
~ Osho

Have you ever spun around and around until you feel dizzy? Gosh, I hope so, at least as a child. I’m feeling a little like that now. It’s been a whirlwind trip that has included a good dose of family and friends. It’s a good kind of dizzy. The kind that makes you smile and laugh.

There is so much activity going on that I don’t know where to start. A day- and evening-long dance recital (broken up into six shows). Time with my granddaughters and their parents. Playing in a sandbox. Hiking in a beautiful park with a friend. A big, fat, delicious Mexican lunch. A tour in search of whimsy. Good conversations. Dinner and just hanging out with family.

I’ve taken a lot of terrible photos along the way, but like them anyway because they are reminders of fun, of family, of nature, of life.

Today will be full, too. I am grateful to have a little quiet time this morning. Just enough to do a little yoga, meditate, and recharge before I get going again.

Thank you for dropping by today. What have you been up to lately? Have you gone on any adventures, big or small? I hope all is well.

Regular blogging and visits to your blogging neighborhood will resume this weekend, perhaps. In the meantime, be good, be kind, be loving. Just Be. 🙂

I so like the creative quote. To be in love with life! Yes! (Except on those days when we’re not…) Loved your photos, Robin. Especially of the twirling dancing one.

I think I’ve spun around until I was dizzy. But it was so long ago I can’t be sure. Now I’m just dizzy because I’m tired. Katie and I went on an adventure last weekend but I haven’t had time to tell you all about it yet. Trucking issues overwhelm at the moment.

Those are wonderful photos, Robin, and I love your new header. What an intriguing photo of the sun. You might enjoy Robert Bauval’s newest with a photo like that. Beautiful photo of your granddaughter dancing. I hope you frame it for her. Just lovely. So happy to see all is well with you, Safe travels, WG

I used stones to make a small stream on our property … reminds me of your ‘river’ road. Jane

Glad to hear that you’ve had wonderful time visiting family … and (a surprise ;)) that you made time for a walk in the woods.
