Somewhere, something incredible is waiting to be known.
~ Carl Sagan
Today’s joys: Anticipation. Watching the rain through the window while I wait. A lovely meditation session. A long walk this morning before the rains came. Finding the perfect recipe.

I’m wondering what you are waiting for, or is it the bird in the tree who is waiting?

Hi Joanne. 🙂 I was waiting for my new counter tops to arrive. They’re here now, installing them. Yay! As for the bird, he might have been waiting for his next meal or for the big storm that’s coming tonight.

Great picture, at first glance the rain could be mistaken for brush strokes and the few remaining leaves could easily be the first sign of blossom. The ingredients you put into the camera were the perfect recipe for your picture too. 🙂
