Now and then

Evidence of change
Evidence of change

It’s being here now that’s important.  There’s no past and there’s no future.  Time is a very misleading thing.  All there is ever, is the now.  We can gain experience from the past, but we can’t relive it; and we can hope for the future, but we don’t know if there is one.

~ George Harrison

Hello!  How goes it?  I’m back for a bit.  I’ve been sitting here trying to get started and nothing comes to mind even though so much has happened in the short time I’ve been on a blogging break.  I’ve been over hill.

I’ve been hiking and walking and visiting, reading and writing and meditating.  It’s been a very full blogging break.

Someday I might tell you all about it.  For now, I just wanted to peek in and say hello.  I hope all is well with you.

Home again.
Home again.

Be good, be kind, be loving.  Just Be.  And have a great weekend!  🙂

Robin is... too many things to list, but here is a start: an artist and writer; a photographer and saunterer; a daughter and sister and granddaughter; a friend, a partner, a wife, a mother, and a grandmother; a gardener, a great and imaginative cook, and the creator of wonderful sandwiches.

  1. Hello Robin. I have missed visiting with you so it is wonderful that you called in to say hello. What a busy time you have had! Did you get to any house renovating? I will look forward to hearing more news. 🙂

    1. Thank you, Joanne. 🙂 The house renovations are going slowly, but surely. We’re having trouble getting a consistent estimate on some of the work, and that has put a lot on hold until we can get some good, solid numbers. There are some things we will do ourselves, but other things need experts (bringing the electricity up to code, for instance).

  2. Beautiful pictures Robin. Looks like you’ve been having a lovely time – and maybe, just maybe, getting along pretty well with Summer? 😉

    1. Thank you, Karma. 🙂 Summer and I are on speaking terms, and sometimes we get along quite well, but other times… ugh. Right now, it’s not so bad. 😀

  4. Oh how fun to read (and see) a little of what you’ve been doing. I like so many of these pictures. Guess what? I had LOST the link to your blog. It had disappeared from my blogroll, wonder why? Thank goodness we’re FB friends. It provided a nice link. Hope this weekend is treating you in a good way.

    1. Thank you, Kathy. 🙂 I’m so glad you found me again. I’ve had that happen, too. Things sometimes just disappear into cyberspace for no rhyme or reason that I can figure.
